Beautiful glow, nice looking battery candles. Biggest drawback is that they can’t be set to come on at certain time each day. The timer will turn off candles after set amount of time, but other brands have a turn on function built into the timer. These do not, you will have to turn them on and your selected timer will turn off candles. But this process will have to be done each day. The remote does work with the votives…perhaps manufacturer fixed that as other reviews said the remote doesn’t work on them. Mine are working just fine with remote. Battery life isn’t as good as other candle brands though. These use AAA instead of AA or C and perhaps that is why the shorter life???

I just got these today, so I can’t speak about battery life or anything. What I can say is that I’m obsessed with how beautiful they are and how realistic they look! They all work and the remote works… it makes it so much easier! The fact that they came with batteries is a bonus!!

We are not allowed to have any source of open flame where I live. I have always been a candle person, so I was distressed that I would no longer to be able to enjoy candlelight in the evenings. I found these great battery-operated candles here on Amazon. They are actually made with real wax and are quite thick. They have a beautiful design carved into them. When they are turned on, they flicker and look like flames are really burning down in the candles. They have batteries included, and even have a handy remote control to turn them on and off, adjust the flickering and the brightness. The remote also has a timer function (between 2-8 hours) so you don’t have to remember to turn them off when you go to bed or leave your house. The set comes with two sizes of pillar candles (4″ and 6″ – two of each) and four votive size candles. Note that the votives must be turned on with a switch on the bottom of each one, and they do NOT respond to the remote control, so you have to operate them manually. This set was a great value and added a great decorative touch to my home. I may buy another set for my bedroom. They are available in many colors, so you can easily match your decor.

Easy to use with remote, great for Halloween and romantic candle lit dinners. Very pretty orange. Dim but flicker & look real. Well priced

The product and the remote worked fine at first.
After about 2 days of working fine, only about 1/2 the candles would go on via remote.
I purposely purchased candles with remote so I could have a nice atmosphere with out having to turn each candle on. When the product was working fine, I threw out all the packaging so I could not return the candles:(
UPDATE: Only 1/2 the candles went on, I tried getting closer to the candles that were not working and the remote did work. It is not in one press or a button, but I was able to learn how to get them all to function at the same time with the remote. I updated to 5 stars:)

I was very happily surprised that these candles came with batteries. I must have missed that in description. One little tea candle isn’t working but I have spare batteries somewhere. Even so, I really just wanted the 3 large ones and I am very pleased. In the picture, I am holding the large candle. *Edit. It turns out the little tea light is defective with the flame having a loose connection with the base. I still love the set however. I’m sure it’s just a fluke that mine is broken.

Look nice on. But remote stopped working after first use. Changed battery and still nothing but its not to much of a big deal as all candles have swiches on the bottoms anyway but bought them as remote was a nice feature

They’re pretty and they light up nicely. My only complaint is the remote control and the operation of turning the candles on via remote. They don’t all turn on at once with the first press of the button on the remote. It requires multiple clicks before they are all on. The remote is cheap and doesn’t press well. Aside from that, the look nice, but they did lose a lot of glitter.
