It is very well constructed. Quality materials. Just got the Solar Oven Cooking cook book. Looking forward to making delicious meals. The electric company is going to hate this thing. Lol

I heated up prepared foods as the included directions suggested for a first-timer. Outside temperatures ranged from 32F-45F during the middle of the day 11am -4pm EDST. Everything did get hot, with steaming when lids came off. Full sun and hourly focus. Food was done to safe temps at 1pm, but kept well in the solar oven until 4pm!

I’ve cooked a frozen tamale and made a keto grilled cheese so far. My concern is it will get blown away, as I’m taking this to Burning Man. It does have a difficulty staying up sometimes. I might have to figure out how to strap down, as it take a couple of hours to heat up the food, but it’s honestly better than cooking in 100 degree weather.

This is great for those 106 degree days in my Texas backyard, when I want to add a cooked item to my grilling plans, without heating up the whole kitchen! Cooked rice for adding to lunch and boiled eggs for making deviled eggs.

Hard to zip up. Have used solar cooker before and recommend oven bag to help speed up cooking process.

This solar oven is fantastic! It heated up to 190 degrees F on a test run over the course of 1 hour. It got so hot the the metal rack I placed inside to hole the thermometer got too hot to hold my bare hands. I am happy to add this solar oven to my prepping stash.
Easy to use and store.
Comes with simple instruction fliers, which could use improvement.
Also comes with a nice storage bag.
Great price for this solar oven.

While this oven was well within my budget limit, & I appreciate it’s light weight, the face of the unit collapsed on itself & I had no way to prop it more open. I also made a mistake in making a full sized meatloaf. I’ll give it another chance & if its meatloaf I make, I’ll do so in small portions.

I made my coffee in my usual pan with lid in this solar cooker. It was done in 30 min. I had to use oven mitts to get the pot out. Once I removed the lid I could see the steam coming out. No need of stove, matchbox or gas cylinder. I will try rice next in it. This was in the month of May, I am not sure if this will work in winter when its -30C.
