It is perfect for any occasion and the perfect size for one skillet. We go camping often and it’s so convenient to bring this along. We even use it for our backyard dinner table to cook! Highly recommend if you travel often or want to cook outdoors without being tied to a massive grill

I’ve used this actually many times even in my own house on the back porch.
It’s easy to use, after you get the correct size of a butane canister feom the store. It’s easy to install and easy to turn on and off. It heats up cast iron pans very easily (and that’s what I recommend using only because it’s an actual fire that heats and lights up using this so it will destroy other pots or pans if too high). It doesn’t do too well in windy conditions either but not too breezy days it’s perfect. It’s easy to clean too if it gets dirty and convenient to put in it’s zipper box it comes in once done using.

Hi, this review is of the ADDOT Portable Butane Stove with Carrying Case, Mini Single Gas Burner, Compact and Great for Camping, Backpacking, RV, Road Trip, Picnic, and Travel, Piezo Electric Ignition (grey).
Honestly, I made a mistake when I ordered this, but it turns out to be a good one. I thought that this stove used propane, which I have a few dozen canisters on hand.
The butane cans weigh less than the propane canisters therefore are easier to pack and carry.
The stove ships with a med-hard shell case with a carrying strap. It will certainly help protect it from scratches and weathering.
I’ve never used a butane stove before so it took me a while to figure out that can magnetically locks in place.
The knob is a little wonky. It slips around a bit. I’m going think about it a to see if I can come up with a good solution to secure it better. If I do, I’ll come back and update this post. Maybe just dab of silicone?
The stove itself looks great and seems to be made of high-quality materials. It’s definitely the nicest looking single burner stove I’ve owned.
It has little feet that help keep it from slipping around.
The burner looks nicer than the ones on my BBQ and, uh, I’m forgetting the name of the stand that holds the pots and pans, anyway it doesn’t wobble.
I give it 4 stars because of the knob. If the manufacturer fixes that, then I think this a solid 5-star stove at $39.99.

Bought this because it was compact and really stylish but after using it for only a handful of times it stopped working. I use to use a lighter to get it going. Really disappointed.

This is a compact single burner butane stove that would be useful for backpacking, camping or emergency use. It is nice and small, and comes with a sturdy zipper-case to keep it secure when not in use.
Unfortunately the instructions are terrible, written in the far-too-common “Chinglish” that makes it next to impossible to understand. I do wish Chinese product manufacturers took a little more time to get their instructions either translated well or written by somebody with a good understanding of the English language.
The instructions being what they are, it took me a while to figure out how to get the butane fuel cylinder (Not included) to install and “click” into place. Because of that my initial attempts to get the unit to light were unsuccessful. On top of that, the first time I turned the front control knob it came off completely. Fortunately it wasn’t broken, it’s just a press-fit onto the shaft that controls the gas flow, and it pushed right back on.
Once I got the cylinder correctly installed and secured, turning the unit on was easy with the built-in piezo-igniter. The knob adjusted the heat easily and shut off correctly at the bottom of the range. I haven’t had an opportunity to use it camping yet, and I suspect that it would do ok for cooking some small meals or boiling a small pot of water, but as small as it is don’t expect to make a meal for a family of four using just this stove.
I think this will become part of my emergency get-away kit, because it is nice and compact and works well within the above mentioned limitations. Keep in mind you will need to carry the butane fuel separately because the case the stove comes in is too small to keep a can installed in it when not in use.
I give this unit only four stars because of the terrible instructions and heat limitations. Other than that I have no reason to not recommend it for this price.
